Blek Le Rat Opening Reception:
April 5th, 2008 8-11pm On Exhibition:
Subliminal Projects welcomes Blek le Rat into their artistic doors for his first U.S. art exhibit, Art Is Not Peace But War. Hailing from Paris, Blek is highly regarded as one who added an avant-garde flair to street art by creating life-size stencil art; leaving symbols instead of his name. His originality has influenced equally talented street writers from JayBadbc to Oseas Duarte to Shepard Fairey to Banksy. After more than 30 years of recognition, his notorious sharp, stylish, black-and white symbols are actually crafted on canvasses for everyone's approval.
There will be an open reception Saturday, April 5 2008, 8 p.m.-11 p.m.
Cost: Free!
